During the second week of July 2012, the 1st joint field trip to collect seeds has been taken place in the beautiful island of Crete. Partners from the Centre for the Conservation of Biodiversity (University of Cagliari) and from the Department of Biological, Geological and Environmental Sciences (University of Catania) joined partners from the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute Chania in a fruitful seed collecting trip!

The trip was worthwhile in all respects. This occasion surely has allowed us to strengthen the relationship between the project partners from Crete, Sardinia and Sicily. Also, the partners used the opportunity to discuss and develop common scientific research programmes.
